Perennials

Perennials are plants that live for two years or more and once mature, will flower every year. Herbaceous perennials will flower every year and then die back in the autumn to ground level, sending up new growth the following spring.

A well chosen selection of perennials can very quickly form a beautiful bed of interesting textures and colours with both foliage and flowers, providing exciting visual interest for months and months during the summer and autumn.

They can also be used as specimen plants, interspersed with shrubs, annuals, biennials or bulbs in a mixed border, or they can simply be mass planted for a dazzling display of long lasting colour.
