Over 25 years in the growing business, the nursery was started in the mid-eighties, growing garden plants for garden centres and the landscape trade throughout the south-west peninsular and South Wales, with three aims:
To provide customers with top quality plants
To do this at the best possible prices
To give a service second to none.
During these years thousands of people have found the right plants at the right price through the nursery.
At Letsgoplanting we grow some of the very best award winning plants and we are constantly looking for interesting new plants as well as revisiting some older varieties which may have become overlooked over the years.
Letsgoplanting is managed by Ian Phillips.
Ian was brought up on the family farm in Devon and has been a plantaholic for as long as he cares to remember. He has a wide knowledge of all things that grow! He has a professional support team that consists of, amongst others, plant propagator extraordinaire, Beverley, who seems to be able to put roots on virtually anything. In addition, the rest of the hard worked staff look after the packing, growing and general health of the plants.
Letsgoplanting is located deep in cider country within The Vale of Taunton in Somerset. Being in the lee of the beautiful Blackdown Hills and just 50 metres above sea level the nursery is blessed with a very favourable micro climate enabling superb growing conditions.
