Ribes Pulborough Scarlet, commonly known as Flowering Currant, is an average sized, compact, deciduous shrub with aromatic, lobed, green, splashed with cream foliage. Bearing clusters of crimson/dark red flowers, which are then followed in the summer months by small dark blue/black berries. This Ribes makes an ideal plant for cottage or informal gardens and can make a lovely hedge providing some early colour.
