Looking After Your Polystichum Munitum

Generally pest and disease free, an easy to grow, low maintenance shade and moisture loving evergreen, preferring a moist humus rich soil. Late Autumn remove any dead or damaged fronds, and mulch with a well rotted garden compost. Early Spring is an ideal time to propagate by division or re-locate to a new site for replanting, also use a sprinkle of bone-meal or a good quality general purpose fertiliser to help encourage strong, healthy new growth.
