Iris Ensata Variegata, commonly known as ‘Japanese Water Iris’ and holder of the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit is an erect herbaceous perennial, with narrow, tall, mid green leaves, edged in a bright white/cream.  From Spring stunning deep purple flowers appear on its tall erect stems.  The Ensata Variegata can be planted in containers to create a fantastic container display in the garden.
