Eryngium Bourgatii, also known as the ‘Mediterranean Sea Holly’, is a striking compact perennial plant that is native to Mediterranean regions. It is known for its spiky, silvery-blue leaves and cone shaped flower heads with narrow, spiny, usually silvery-blue or violet bracts.  The plant typically grows between 30-60 cm in height, and produces a striking display of flowers in the Summer.

This plant is drought-tolerant and can tolerate poor soils, making it a great choice for rock gardens or coastal gardens. It prefers full sun and moist, well-draining soil.
