Astilbe White Gloria is a compact, clump forming perennial that has glossy dark green, almost fern like foliage.  Erect flower spikes of hundreds of pure white flowers appear in Summer.  These plumes make excellent fresh cut flowers and are great for drying in natural bouquets.

Looking After Your Astilbe White Gloria

Generally pest and disease free, an easy to grow low maintenance plant preferring a moist, humus rich soil in a light to moderately shady area of the garden. Late Autumn provide a good mulch of well rotted garden compost, covering any exposed crowns. During early Spring remove any dead flower heads/leaves, this is also a good time to propagate by division or re-locate to a new site. Apply a good quality general purpose fertiliser to help encourage strong, fresh new growth.
