Looking After Your Anemone September Charm
A wonderfully easy flowering perennial for any gardener to grow successfully, preferring a humus rich, moist, but well drained soil in a sunny or partially shaded area in all types of garden from the informal cottage planting schemes to the town/courtyard or coastal garden. Cut back spent flowers and stems after flowering, and apply a generous layer of well rotted garden mulch which will help protect the roots during the colder months. Early Spring give a general tidy by removing any dead leaves ready for the new season.
