Brunnera Macrophylla, also known as ‘Siberian Bugloss’, holder of the much coveted RHS Award of Garden Merit is a clump forming herbaceous perennial with large mid-dark green heart shaped leaves forming dense mounds which makes this a superb low growing plant. Throughout Spring delicate sprays of small bright blue flowers appear. Brunnera Macrophylla is an ideal plant for a slopping bank or cottage style garden scheme.
Looking After Your Brunnera Macrophylla
Generally pest and disease free, an easy to grow herbaceous perennial in many, if not all locations. A low maintenance plant which can benefit from a sunny or partially shaded area of the garden, suitable for banks and slopes, ground cover or borders.
