Trollius New Moon, also known as the Globe flower, is a clump forming, upright, early flowering perennial of compact habit, it’s deeply lobed, toothed, deep green foliage providing the perfect base for it’s strong upright stems carrying the creamy yellow double flowers to emerge. Trollius New Moon is a moisture loving plant and ideally suited to pond-side or river bank planting schemes.
Looking After Your Trollius ‘New Moon’
Generally pest and disease free, an easy to grow perennial in a sunny or partially shaded area of the garden, a moisture loving plant so needs to be kept well drained but moist. Cut stems back after the first flowers to prolong the flowering season and encourage a new flush of green leaves. Clumps can be divided during early Spring to prevent over crowding.
