Hamamelis Arnolds Promise, commonly known as ‘Witch Hazel’ and holder of the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit, is a Winter flowering, deciduous shrub or small tree that is native to North America. This shrub is named after the famous horticulturist, Michael Arnold, and is well-known for its striking golden yellow flowers that bloom in late Winter to early Spring. The blooms are abundant and have a sweet fragrance, making them a favourite of gardeners.

In terms of history, this variety of Hamamelis is a hybrid variety that was created by Arnold in the late 1970s.
