How to care for your Fuchsia Riccartonii
- Light: Prefers partial to full shade, with protection from direct sunlight.
- Water: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Avoid letting the soil dry out completely.
- Temperature: It can tolerate temperatures as low as -20°C.
- Soil: It prefers well-draining, slightly acidic soil. Use a mixture of peat moss and perlite for optimal drainage.
- Fertiliser: It benefits from regular fertilisation during the growing season. Use a balanced, water-soluble fertiliser every two to four weeks.
- Pruning: Prune Fuchsia Riccartonii regularly to encourage bushier growth and prevent legginess. Pinch back the tips of the stems to promote branching.
Fuchsia Riccartonii is a beautiful and unique plant that can add colour and interest to any garden. With proper care, it will thrive and provide many seasons of beautiful blooms.
