Deutzia Pink Pom Pom, also known as ‘Slender Deutzia’, is a hardy, deciduous shrub with grey – green slender pointed leaves which turn a deep burgundy colour in the Autumn. The slightly scented dusty pink double flowers which fade to white, emerge from soft pink buds in clusters of rounded pom pom shapes during early summer, an ideal mixed shrub border plant also suitable for coastal areas.  Bee friendly and other pollinating insects.

Looking after your Deutzia Pink Pom Pom

A generally pest and disease free, low maintenance and easy to grow ornamental shrub, suitable in many if not all locations and will benefit from a sunny or semi shaded area.  Preferring a fertile, moist but well drained soil.  Any pruning required should be done during the dormant season, late Winter to early Spring where a general purpose, slow release fertilizer may be added to promote fresh growth for the coming season.
