Convolvulus Cneorum, also known as ‘Silver Bush’, recipient of the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit for its outstanding qualities, provides an invaluable low, mound forming, spreading evergreen shrub well suited to the front of the border, with shiny, silvery, narrow, oblong foliage, bearing prolific, long lasting, wide funnel shaped white flowers with a golden yellow centre. A very adaptable drought resistant, small shrub suitable for many situations including container/patio planting.

Looking After Your Convolvulus Cneorum

Generally pest and disease free an easy to grow small, evergreen shrub in many if not all locations. A low maintenance shrub which will thrive in most soils, including poor to moderately fertile, preferring a sunny position in all types of garden from cottage planting schemes to coastal areas, and patio/container growing, with the added benefit of being drought resistant. Very little pruning required, although any shaping required is best done after flowering, apply a multi purpose fertiliser early Spring to encourage strong, healthy new growth in the coming season.
