Choisya White Dazzler, commonly known as ‘Mexican Orange Blossom’, holder of the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit and is an attractive, aromatic, compact, evergreen garden shrub. Its pinkish buds open to reveal clusters of snowy-white scented flowers which cover the plant in Spring. It is an excellent pollinator being particularly attractive to the butterflies and other beneficial insects for the garden. Often produces a second flush of flowers in late Summer/Autumn.
Looking After Your Choisya x dewitteana White Dazzler
Generally pest and disease free and an easy to grow flowering shrub in many if not all locations. A low maintenance shrub which can benefit from a sunny or partially shaded area in all types of garden from Cottage planting schemes, court-yard gardens or coastal areas. Plant in a fertile, moist, but well drained soil, feeding with a good quality multi-purpose fertiliser early Spring to encourage strong, fresh new growth for the coming season. Prune immediately after flowering to encourage a second flush of flowers during late Summer, at the same time removing any damaged or unwanted branches.
