Camellia Nuccio’s Cameo, a holder of the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit is known for its pink blooms and glossy dark green leaves.  The plant has a rich history dating back to ancient China and Japan where it was highly valued for its delicate beauty and was often used in art and literature.  The Camellia flower is also known for its symbolism, representing grace, perfection and loveliness.

What sets Camellia Nuccio’s Cameo apart from other Camellia varieties is its pink, semi-double blooms. The blooms have a strong fragrance and are approximately 2-3 inches in diameter. The blooming period is typically in Spring making it a great option for adding colour to gardens.

The plant itself grows to a height of 2.5-4m and a spread of 1.5-2.5m and is an evergreen shrub, which means it keeps its leaves all year round. The leaves of Camellia Nuccio’s Cameo are glossy and dark green. The plant is hardy and thrives in partial to full shade. It can also be grown in a container, making it a great option for small gardens or patios.
