Calamagrostis x Acutiflora Overdam, also known as ‘Variegated Feather Reed Grass’ is a clump forming perennial grass of gracefully arching, linear, green leaves which bear pale yellow margins and stripes, fading into a pinkish white colour. From July onwards loose sprays of purplish flowers on tall, erect stems are formed, becoming a pale brown towards Autumn. A superb architectural plant providing height to the border, left to dry naturally the mature flower panicles swaying gently in the breeze provide extra interest to the garden during the Winter months.
