Arbutus Unedo Rose Lily, also known as the ‘Strawberry tree’ is a large, bushy, slow growing evergreen shrub which has reddish-brown peeling bark and glossy dark green leaves.  Clusters of small pink and white flowers appear in Autumn at the same time as the round red or yellow fruit from the previous years flowers.

Generally pest and disease free and an easy to grow plant in many if not all locations. a low maintenance large shrub or small tree which will benefit from a sunny fertile area in all types of garden from cottage planting schemes, to coastal areas. Requires minimal pruning, but be sure to remove any broken or damaged branches. Plant in fertile, moist and well drained soil.
