Looking After Your Anemone Prinz Heinrich

An easy to grow flowering perennial for any gardener to grow successfully, preferring a humus rich, moist, but well drained soil in a sunny or partially shaded area in all types of garden from the informal cottage planting schemes to the town / courtyard or coastal gardens. Cut back spent stems after flowering, also giving a general tidy removing any damaged leaves, avoid moving when possible as they do resent disturbance, should lifting and dividing be necessary to prevent over crowding then do so late Autumn / early Spring before applying a generous mulch of well rotted garden compost to help protect the roots during the colder months.
