The Abelia Confetti or more commonly known as the ‘Glossy Abelia’ is a bushy, low maintenance semi-evergreen shrub with wonderful dark green foliage with creamy white edges which adds to its colour. Leading into autumn a purple/red tinge will appear on the tips of the foliage.

When does Abelia Confetti flower?

Looking after your Glossy Abelia

Generally pest and disease free and an easy to grow shrub in many if not all locations. A low maintenance shrub which can benefit from a sunny fertile area in all types of gardens from cottage planting schemes to coastal schemes. Pruning of the Glossy Abelia is best done during March and April, before any new growth appears, as here is where the new flowers are produced.
